Public Works Department
1.  Truck Driver
Applications are now being accepted for a full time Truck Driver. Applicants will have the responsibility to operate 6 or 10 wheel dump trucks, plow trucks, sanders, other light equipment and hand tools.  Must be willing to work in adverse winter weather conditions by plowing snow, hauling snow and spreading salt and sand.  During the summer, work will include operating trucks in hauling materials, brush and debris cleanup, road maintenance, street construction and minor vehicle repairs.  May assist with sewer system maintenance and repairs as needed.  Must be available for
call-ins, call-backs and OT during the winter, emergencies, highway construction and sewer field operations.  Qualifications include:  a valid NH CDL B driver’s license with a clean driving record.  Starting hourly rate $14.40 to $15.51/hour with benefits (Union Position).  This position requires the employee to work in a strenuous physical work environment.  Job description is available upon request.

Account Payable-Account Receivable Clerk
28-34 hrs. a week with a benefits package
 

We are in need of a person who can multi-task with an accounting background who is detail oriented that can process accounts payable, post general ledger entries, handle account reconciliations and post accounts receivables.  Must be able to process deposits, file, and assist with bank reconciliations and other general financial & clerical work.  Requires someone with organizational skills, good oral & written communication skills and has knowledge of computer software such as excel and word.   Knowledge and experience in accounts payable, and account receivable, along with other accounting skills is a plus.  Must be available 28-34 hrs. a week (some hours are flexible). H.S. graduate with at least 3 years’ experience in accounting preferred.   Starting wages $15.00-$18.00 per hour depending on experience, some flexibility with the work hours and a benefits package is included.   The Town of Littleton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.   A full job description is available upon request.
