  • Adopt the name “Thayer’s Lane” for the unnamed road right of way between Thayer’s Inn and the Bank of New Hampshire.
  • Establish a consistent speed limit of 20MPH for Saranac Street, Hidden Brook Lane, Green Street, Thayer’s Lane, Porter Street and Mill Street.
  • Establish a speed limit of 10MPH for the River District Parking Lot.
  • Adopt the signage and striping improvements done on Saranac Street, Ammonoosuc Street and River District Parking Lot.

Doug Damko was running late so Rossie asked those who were present to bring up any concerns as to why they were present.  Carrol Lucas said he was present concerning the speed limits.  Lucas asked if other streets could be considered.  Dorsett said he would bring it to the Traffic Committee who tried to improve conditions.  Smith said that Lucas was referring to School Street.  Smith said they have talked about it and thought they agreed to make it consistent with the lower half of streets in Town.  Dorsett said they would discuss it at their Traffic Safety Committee Meeting.

Doug Damko explained each item listed under his appointment.  Dorsett stated that the name of the road for Thayer’s Land should be corrected to Thayers Lane with no apostrophe.  There was a discussion on each item listed for the recommendations submitted by Damko.
