PRESENT:  Chair Jessica Daine, Vice Chair Jerry LeSage, Ralph Hodgman, David Rochefort, and Joanna Ray (recording secretary)

 

EXCUSED:  Jim McMahon, George Morgan (alternate), Guy Harriman (alternate) and Eddy Moore (alternate)

Chair Daine called the meeting to order at 6:00. 

 

Review of decision on the following case:

 

James & Gail Ramsey, Owners & Applicants – ZBA19-06 – Request relating to Article VI, Section 6.01 of the Littleton Zoning Ordinance to allow a fence over 6’ high at 249 Birchcroft Drive, tax map 92-26, in the R-2 zone.

 

Joanna explained to the Board that Jim Ramsey questioned the wording of the minutes and decision letter because there was reference to the fence being limited to 48’ long yet it also said from the shed to the southern property line.  The measurement to the southern property line is more than 48’.  Due to the slope of the land, Jim knows that some of the fence will be less than 8’ high.

 

Joanna checked with Town counsel and found out that the Board could hold a meeting to review and correct the minutes and decision letter.

 

Vice Chair LeSage made a motion to amend the minutes to correctly state the conditions as follows:

  • The fence will not exceed 8’ in height.
  • The fence to be located from the shed to the southern property line and will be installed by a qualified contractor.
  • The applicant must comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations.

 

David seconded the motion.  The motion passed by all.

 

At 6:15, Chair Daine made a motion to adjourn.  Vice Chair LeSage seconded the motion.  The motion passed.
