Approved Planning Board Minutes - June 18. 2019

TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 2019
6:00 PM



 PRESENT: Vice Chair Mary Menzies, Milton Bratz, Val Poulsen, Carrie Gendreau, Calvin Beaulier, Kristyn Meuller and Joanna Ray (recording secretary)


EXCUSED: Chair Tony J. Ilacqua and Carrie Gendreau


ABSENT:  Colin Trahan


OTHERS: Liz Kelly, Jessica Willis, and Mason Funai


Mary Menzies called the meeting to order at 6:00. Calvin and Kristyn will be voting members for this meeting.


Election of Officers

Kristyn nominated Tony as Chairman.  Milton seconded the motion.  The motion passed.

Milton nominated Mary as Vice Chairman.  Bruce seconded the motion.  The motion passed.

Joanna was appointed as the recording secretary.


David & Jessica Willis, Owners & Mason & Connie Funai, Owners / Boulanger Consulting, Agent – PB19-04 – Request for a Lot Line Adjustment between tax maps 80-21 & 80-24 at 76 Hill St. & 29 Richmond St. in the R-I zone.  Vice Chair Menzies accepted the application as complete. 


Bruce noted the line will be relocated and the existing shed will have an 8.91’ setback from the rear property line.  It was agreed that this lot line adjustment will make it better.  The shed will be removed at some point.  Milton, as Zoning Officer, did not have a problem with the new setback.  The adjustment makes more of a setback.


The public input was closed.


Val made a motion to approve the request of case PB19-04 with the condition that the applicants comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations.  Bruce seconded the motion.  The motion passed.


Resilience Planning & Design

Liz and the Board reviewed the draft Economic Development Chapter.  Potential dates for the Community Forum in September were considered.  Liz will call the Opera House to check for availability. 


Review of May 21, 2019 minutes

Milton made a motion to approve the minutes as written.  Val seconded the motion.  The motion passed.


At 7:50, Vice Chair Menzies made a motion to adjourn.  Kristyn seconded the motion.  The motion passed.
