PUBLIC HEARING regarding UNANTICIPATED FUNDS

The Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 4:45 PM, at the Littleton Community Center, Heald Room as prescribed by RSA 31:95-b, Section III, and RSA 91A: 2 to discuss the acceptance and expenditure of unanticipated money from the State, Federal or other governmental unit or private sources by the Selectmen. 

 

For the purpose of accepting federal grant monies under the FEMA Public Assistance program. This hearing is being conducted in accordance with NH RSA 31:95b and the FEMA funds are for reimbursement of disaster-related expenses from the July 2017 severe storm event (FEMA DR-4329).

 

Reimbursement #1   $21,401.93 for work done on Heather Lane, Old Mt Eustis Rd and Tuck Lane.  Along with other various roads.    Total cost for the repairs was $28,535.91, FEMA’s reimbursement is for 75% of the cost.  

 

Reimbursement #2   $14,757.12 for work done on Hilltop Road, Kelly Lane, Brick Yard Road, Morrison Hill Drive, Williams Lane and Orchard Hill Road.    Total cost for repairs was $19,676.16, FEMA’s reimbursement is for 75% of the cost.  

 

Reimbursement #3   $14,072.60 for some work done on Mann’s Hill Road Culvert, and Palmer Brook Culvert. There is still work to be completed on this project.   The cost of the project is estimated to be $18,763.47.  

 

Total Funds to be accepted is $50,231.65.
