Joint meeting with all four entities involved in the Opera House, missing Facilities Manager.
DM Our responsibility
· Building plan exact physical space. Discussion concerning OH, common space, or Chamber space
· Define exact space the OHMC is managing
SK Legally binding (Negotiate with Chamber as to their responsibility)
NS There should be considerable scheduling, because its new.
· Security/staffing
· How much/what responsibility does Chad have?
MS There has been discussion with other committees not to use the OH for smaller meetings, they will be moving back to the Community House
CS Spoke about Third Phase
· Conference Center upstairs in the OH
· Welcome Center in the OH
· 24 hour Kiosk at the Main Street Welcome Center
· There is a lot of free parking
NS Dealing with the Department of Historical Resources was difficult
JB Found the Department to be extremely helpful
SK Balcony railing needed to be kept
· Is balcony ready for use?
· Create new stairs
· Hand railings
· Handicapped railing
· All have been approved, but not completed
**What happens if we dont have historical approval? Just do it. Dont ask, dont tell.
DM From the punch list, is there anything in writing? We need to see it.
CS There is a 51 Page Easement. Not sure who has that document. Maybe Ruth Taylor?
KK There is also a 20 point schedule, she has these.
JB Since we took the Grant, therefore we must comply. Must be in accordance with Easement.
DM Chad needs to have a copy of the Standards from the Department of Historical Resources. Get a copy for OHMC. Talk to Chuck.
Discussion of flaking of paint/bricks on the Cottage Street side. Who is responsible?
MS Emailed
I got this from Joe Wiggett. It appears that there was $34,450 allocated for the year. Allocated seems to be the operative term, too. Not much wiggle room, from what I can see. Working on getting the rest.
SK What are the expenses year to date? If we know, there might be some wiggle room.
DM Fine tune maintenance by zone.
JB Believes there is only two zones. (The Building and the Venue)
JR Are the doors to the OH section going to be locked during the day? What if people just want to look around?
CS Yes, locked.
· Arrange for tours once a day
· Tours arranged
· Given by volunteers
· Maybe through the Historical Society
· Bette Davis corner

· Etc.
KK May use the foyer for displaying, some worry about touching and wear and tear
DM Lighting?
CS Scheduling (On-line Google calendar) linked to the Town website. Asked if there could be an OH page?
DM Preliminary Report on 5/26. Discussion whether that date is the BOS meeting. MS Thinks its the 19th.

DM Need to get budget figures from Joe Wiggett. How is money going to be allocated?
CS Profit and loss needs to be defined. The first 3-4 months will be more telling than past years.
